Product Facts!
DoradoStrip 3032 can help
save you money over nationally recognized name brand chemical
paint removers by offering similar if not better performance
characteristics at a lower overall cost per gallon.

DoradoStrip™
3032 is a low VOC, water-based biodegradable,
low odor paint remover. DoradoStrip 3032 will effectively lift urethanes,
and alkyds from vinyl tiles and other types of flooring, as well
as interior architectural coatings. Recommended for use on
nearly all substrates DoradoStrip 3032 contains no TAP's or
Hap's, offers easy cleanup with soap and water or denatured alcohol.
DoradoStrip 3032 offers you the same usability in all performance
measures as similar paint stripping products albeit at a lower cost.
DoradoStrip 3032 is a quality replacement for most expensive
chemical paint removers and is designed for use on substrates including
steel, aluminum, concrete, masonry, wood, (lead based paints) or
in any area where worker safety or damage to delicate equipment
may be of concern.
Due to its thinner consistency of spray machine application the
manufacturer suggests methods other than brushing due to the inherit
realization that these methods may produce lower film builds and
inconsistent product thickness. This may lead to product performance
under optimum ability. You should always sample the product
and prepare a test area to determine suitability for your intended
project and application method. This not only helps save you
money but enhances your experience with the product and helps you
gain valuable insight into dwell times, performance and suitability.

Our
test board has 20 painted layers ...
We applied DoradoStrip 3032 to our test board in a temperature controlled
environment of 70 degrees. For application we used a 2.5in
Chip Brush (this does not follow the manufacturers recommended application
method). We made sure to put on a heavy even coat, kind of
like the a pop tart coating. The product was very thin and
had the same consistency of Elmer's Glue. It had a floral/fruity
odor in the pail and was yellow in color.

...
at 24 hours we couldn't speak. We were too busy wondering
what this product had been up to ...
Apparently DoradoStrip 3032 had been up to a lot as it had already
begun to lift on its own. As you can easily see the paint is popping
up in sections. Too bad we can't offer you a topographical
view. It's even more amazing in person. Although we
waited 24 hours we felt that the same (visual results) were present
after 12 hours. We waited 24 hours soley because that the
way we do it ...

...
finally we get to take the paint off!
We used the ProGrip2 putty knife to easily remove 15 of the 20 painted
layers. The White softened layer didn't give us much trouble but
the red layer was not willing to budge at all! This was almost
the same result we got in our DoradoStrip 3031 test, although we
did feel the 3031 was still slightly wetter, making it easier to
remove. We assumed lesser results since we did not follow
the manufacturers recommendation for application method. In
harsher environments (wind, rain, temperature or high humidity)
you will need to check removal times more closely. Obviously
we could have removed the product after just 12 hours with similiar
results.
