PREPARATION: Prepare wood with appropriate BIO-WASH® product. See Wood Restoration Product Selector.

TEST PATCH: Conduct a small test patch in an inconspicuous area to ensure product desired color.

APPLICATION: Ensure surface temperature is between 50°F (10°C) and 100°F (38°C). The Hand Touch Test™ is when the wood feels hot to touch. Avoid application of product when the daily low is below 50°F (10°C) or rain is in the immediate forecast.

Apply STAIN PREP™ and then rinse with plenty of water. STAIN PREP™ is a required pH balancing cleaner that increases coating penetration and maximizes coating life. Let wood dry for at least 3 to 4 hours or until dry-to-touch. If not coating with NATURAL DECK OIL™ right away, ensure surface remains clean and dry and is coated within 10 days.

Using a nylon or polyester paintbrush, apply at least two coats of NATURAL DECK OIL™. Apply second coat within 3 to 4 hours after the first coat.

Stir NATURAL DECK OIL™ well prior to use.

COVERAGE: 150 to 250 square feet per gallon, per coat.

DRY TIME: NATURAL DECK OIL™ will be dry to touch in 3 to 4 hours. After 8 hours at 68°F (20°C) the newly coated surface is safe to walk on. A complete cure of the coating for walked on surfaces is 48 to 72 hours at 65° (20°C) and less than 50% humidity. Additional second coat must be applied within 6 hours of previous coat.

MAINTENANCE: Clean with SIMPLE WASH™ yearly. Maintain the beauty of your deck by simply using STAIN PREP™ as directed before applying a single maintenance coat of NATURAL DECK OIL™.

CLEAN UP: Clean up tools immediately with water. Overspray and spills are easily cleaned with tap water before coating dries.
