OxiClean
is the original stain remover that uses the power of oxygen to clean
your home. An Oxygen bleach begins its reaction when mixed with water.
The molecules of the water start to produce oxygen ions. These ions then
attack the stain molecules and break them apart. This allows oxygen
bleach to remove dirt and stains from your clothing and many other
surfaces. Oxygen bleach also does an amazing job on untreated wood decks
by removing the weathered graying that occurs over time. It will not
change the color of the natural wood, yet it will darken redwood. What′s
most amazing is that the use of a power washer is generally not needed.
Simply apply oxygen bleach to the untreated deck surface, let it set for
5 to 10 minutes then agitate with an acid brush. You will be amazed at
the results! The main active ingredient of this product is Sodium
Carbonate not Sodium Hypochlorite which is found in chlorine containing
bleaches. Chlorine Bleach is toxic to people, animals and plants
therefore having a negative affect on both us and our environment. It′s
great for use as a sanitizer and in killing bacteria, but for other
household chores choose Oxygen Bleach instead. It′s safer and better!
